TOWN OF PARKER COMMUNITY VIDEO TOUR

Parker, has a history that dates back to the 1860’s, when a one-room shack was moved from Pine Grove to Cherry Creek to serve as a stage stop called the Twenty-Mile house. Why? Because it was twenty miles from the origination point of the Butterfield Stage, what today is the intersection of Colorado Boulevard and Colfax Avenue.

Today, Parker has retained its rural equestrian roots while becoming an exciting small town with beautiful open space and well planned residential and commercial developments, and with easy access to E-470, I-25, and the Denver Technological center. Beautiful walking and biking trails and equestrian facilities abound in the Parker vicinity. Eight area golf courses, a nationally recognized family recreation center, outstanding schools, and an extensive Parks and Recreation program add to the quality of lifestyle.
