Thornton, Colorado is located approximately 10 miles north of downtown Denver. The community's location adjacent to Interstate 25 provides an excellent high visibility area for business while still providing easy access to various transportation routes - it also provides an ideal environment for recreation and residences.

Planning is underway for a new business park to be developed near the future E-470 highway. This new development, to be known as Centricom Colorado, will increase the City’s tax base and bring new high technology companies to the area, therefore, many new jobs.
