According to a recent census, Cherry Hills Village was ranked the 9th richest community in America with a per capita income of $99,996. It was also ranked #50 in Worth Magazines list of 250 richest towns, in June of 2001. It is located in the Eastern Slope region of the state and is in Arapahoe County.
Cherry Hills Village is one of the metro Denver's most exclusive communities filled with lovely neighborhoods of charming homes. Home values start around the mid $600,000 and reach as high as $10 million. The average priced home in Cherry Hills Village is near $2 million. Lower priced homes are frequently purchased for their lot or location value. These older homes are removed and replaced with $3 million to $8 million homes.
Cherry Hills Village has a population of nearly 6,000. It is a wealthy community with a median household income of over $190,000. Cherry Hills Village is a highly educated area with over 75% of its residents over the age of 25 having at least a Bachelors degree. Nearly 70% of its residents are employed in management, professional or related occupations.
