Broomfield, Colorado is 27.5 square miles located on the Eastern slope of the Rocky Mountains in the Boulder/Longmont area. The median household income is $63,903. 44% of the population is employed in management, professional, or related occupations, while 27% are in sales or office positions, and 20% are in service, production, and transportation fields.
Community Park is 41 acres and includes an amphitheater, BBQ, fitness trail, horseshoe pits, multipurpose courts, 4 multi-use fields, open grass, playground, picnic areas, pond, shelter, soccer field, four lighted tennis courts, and trails.
The recreation department includes aquatics, athletics like basketball, golf, inline hockey, tennis, volleyball, and batting cages. The Bay Aquatic Park is designed for families and children 13 and younger. It features two exciting serpentine slides, a leisure pool, an interactive water play structure, an inner tube slide, and a picnic area with concession stand. There are dozens of local parks with trails, soccer field, tennis courts, and playgrounds.
The upscale shopping area - Flatiron Crossing - includes Nordstrom, Dillard’s, Lord & Taylor, and Foley’s, as well as several feature stores, theaters, and an outdoor village with stores, services, and restaurants.
